Make sure you do not rent a unit next to Gary Ave. You will have constant very LOUD road noise at all hours of the day and night. People race on the road too.
Camden didn't care about it when I brought it up and also would not let us view our specific unit before we signed, they said it was a Covid precaution. So we were only allowed to tour a "show" unit that was the same (minus being next to the street).
Also there are a lot of extra fees that are not included in rent. Honestly not worth the price.
Oh and the neighbor below u smoked and we could smell it in our unit and Camden said there was nothing they could do...
Rented from quite a few leasing companies, and this was by far my least favorite to work with.
I did like the apartment, besides the price and the insanity I recieved from a year of not getting proper sleep. I even used noise canceling headphones to help sleep but the street noise still powered through my head.
Oh and your security deposit will be gone to lots of BS reason. If I remember right, one charge was because we did not live there 5 years, so it is a "early leaving fee" .. basically so they can make money off of everyone's over priced security deposit.
TLDR: If you happen to be rich, and find an apartment not by Gary, enjoy!
