Met with leasing office today. Was really taken back by what we saw and the sales here. We were greeted and then told that an apartment we liked was not available to be shown though we were told it would be earlier in email. So they showed us a more expensive layout to try and make more money. I then asked how they justify the nearly 200 dollar difference in price compared to another apartment complex only a mile or two away. The reaction was that they are much higher class than them and that one isn't their competition. But Camden apartments aren't even as nice as that other one. And sure BMW or Audi are high class but they have justification behind their high price tags. I told them that and she seemed to be unaware of the business and told us she's only been with Camden for two months. Why is she alone at the office then on a Sunday? Lack of training. At the beginning of our tour this woman also declined a man trying to get a package because she was busy with us and told him to come back some other time - why is she the only one there when not only potential tenants need that associate but so do others.. Poor knowledge of product and services and also terrible customer service. Camden is much more expensive than any place in the area and not as good as its competitors who offer the same community features but much more bang for your buck.

It's a nice clean place to live. But very over priced don't fall for the cheap stainless steel and painted cabinets. If you ever have a problem with any other people living there, don't expect them to do anything without you moving to a different unit and signing another year lease. Even if it came to the point where you could not take it any more and moved out months before your lease is up, don't expect to move out early and not pay they; they will hit you on your credit or charge you a ridiculous early termination fee. It's a nice place and the office staff are very nice, but the fine print, rules and penalties in the contract are worth reading. Anyway, we had a very bad experience here and just encourage people to look elsewhere before you sign with Camden

My wife and I and our dog moved in 2 years ago. We found the Camden team very friendly and supportive from day 1. They were very thoughtful in going over every detail of the lease so we knew up front what our rights and expectations were. They take very good care of the property and address any issues that arise. Be prepared every couple of months they do need access to your home for maintenance or things like fire alarm inspections. The property is very beautiful. There is a nice mix of elderly and younger clients. My wife and I really enjoyed going out for walks on the paths. Anytime day or night we felt very safe. We also enjoyed being so close to shopping and restaurants. When it came time for us to move out we did have 1 small stain in the carpet. I emailed them several time over the course of a week asking if they could view our apartment and let me know if I needed to do anything or if it would be okay. we did have communication with the office management and they informed us in writing that there would be no deductions from our deposit. A month after we moved out we got our final statement and there was a $255.00 deduction for the damages. I did not disagree with the damage however I did have a problem with the fact that their management team communicated to me that there would be no deduction and now they are going back on their word. I believe integrity and honesty is a very important part of doing business and in the future if my life leads me to move back into an apartment I will NOT be contacting Camden at Bloomingdale for a home to live in.
